Great Northern Highway Relocation
Cape has been engaged to relocate distribution assets along Great Northern Highway to facilitate the completion of the Main Roads WA Great Northern Highway – Muchea to Wubin (Stage 2) Project. The scope includes approximately: 2.5km of underground cable, 1.6km of conduit, 18km of conductor and 116 new wooden poles to be installed.
PTA Airport Link Traction Power Supply Project
In 2018, Cape secured a contract to energise the Public Transport Authority’s new Maida Vale Substation, as part of the Forrestfield Airport Link Project. Our team is installing approximately 3.5km of three phase underground cable, communications ducts and associated pits to create a new transmission line from the existing 132kV Substation at Forrestfield.
Wanneroo Road and Joondalup Drive Relocation
Cape has been engaged to install two 132kV circuits of underground transmission line as well as supply and construct foundations for transition poles as part of the Main Roads WA overpass bridge construction at the intersection of Joondalup Drive and Wanneroo Road.

Utilising mobile crushing and screening circuits Cape is required to produce 180,000 tonnes of Blast Hole Stemming at -25mm+10mm and 934,000 tonnes of Road Base at -40mm.
