Cape Dunstans delivered an approximately $80 million package of trenching, high-voltage power and fibre-optic infrastructure across the vast SKA-Low project footprint.
Over nearly three years, our team worked alongside Ventia and other project stakeholders to coordinate complex, high-volume installations across hundreds of kilometres of remote terrain, completing 100% of Cape Dunstans’ trenching and services scope.
Project delivery included:
Approximately 250 km of trenching and 250 km of high-voltage cable installation across the SKA-Low project footprint.
Installation of approximately 925 km of fibre-optic cable to support the telescope’s communications network.
Construction of 9,500 antennas and 396 mesh stations using approximately 100,000 individual mesh sheets.
