Executive Team

Greg Hutchinson

Greg Hutchinson is an experienced civil engineer and executive leader with almost 30 years’ experience across engineering, civil construction, infrastructure, utilities, mining and resources contracting in Australia and internationally.

A Curtin University civil engineering graduate, Greg began his career in project delivery roles before progressing through senior engineering, estimating, project management, business development and operational leadership positions with leading contractors including Macmahon, Mouchel in the United Kingdom, Thiess, Ertech, NRW and BGC Contracting.

Throughout his career, Greg has led large-scale construction, mining and infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on safety, operational performance, commercial discipline and building long-term client relationships. He is known for developing high-performing teams and creating practical, collaborative solutions in complex project environments.

Greg joined CAPE in 2018 as Chief Operating Officer and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2019 as part of the company’s leadership succession plan. Under his leadership, Cape Dunstans has continued to strengthen its capability across the resources, infrastructure and utilities sectors, with a focus on sustainable growth, operational excellence and meaningful Indigenous participation.

As CEO of KCU, Greg works closely with Kurtarra and the broader team to support business growth, community engagement and long-term opportunities for Indigenous people and businesses across regional Western Australia.

Greg is passionate about developing people, fostering strategic partnerships and creating lasting value for clients, communities and stakeholders across the regions in which Cape Dunstans operates.

Allan Holland

Allan is an experienced civil and construction professional with more than 20 years in the industry, now serving as COO at Cape Dunstans. Holding a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and Construction) (Hons) and membership with Engineers Australia, Allan brings a strong combination of technical expertise and leadership capability. In his current role, he is responsible for project delivery, tendering, and overseeing Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) systems, while also contributing to operational performance and strategic direction.

Prior to joining Cape Dunstans, Allan spent 13 years with DeGrey Civil where he led the delivery of major infrastructure projects across Western Australia, spanning roadworks, drainage, industrial developments, and public works. His broader career includes senior roles with NRW, ARCCON, Clough / Henry Walker Eltin, and Soil & Rock Engineering, building deep experience across project management, planning, quality systems, and civil design. Allan is recognised for his practical approach, strong stakeholder engagement, and consistent delivery of complex projects with a focus on safety, quality, and long-term outcomes.

Robert Tindall

Rob is an experienced HDD Drilling Manager with 25 years’ industry experience, including more than 10 years in supervisory and management roles. Rob has extensive experience across HDD drilling operations, project planning, mobilisation, casing installation, cementing, well development, site safety management and personnel supervision. His background also spans operations management, plant and asset management, maintenance supervision and the coordination of complex field operations.

With a practical, delivery-focused approach, Rob works closely with operational, maintenance, engineering and HSEQ teams to support safe, efficient and professional project delivery. He is known for his hands-on industry knowledge, strong site leadership and ability to manage people, equipment and project requirements in challenging operating environments.

David Hoffman

David is our Design & Engineering Manager and Hydrogeologist specialising in horizontal directional drilling and trenchless infrastructure including horizontal dewatering wells and seawater intakes. His focus includes leading high-performing multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex and innovative solutions for the resources, water and energy industries.

He has 30 years’ experience in the application of drilling technologies, geotechnical interpretation, aquifer characterisation and civil construction with a strong focus on quality and risk management. He manages the full engineering lifecycle from concept to detailed design and construction whilst ensuring alignment with programme, cost, safety, and client requirements. He applies an efficient and strategic approach along with a collaborative style to maximise the value of each project. David’s innovative work continues to be recognised globally including the design and construction of horizontal dewatering wells using horizontal directional drilling for the mining industry in Australia.

Jaine Edge

Jaine is an experienced HR professional with more than 30 years working in leadership, strategic and operational Human Resources. She has worked across many industries including government, not-for-profit, professional, commercial, hospitality, medical and industrial businesses ranging from local to national and multi-national organisations. Jaine brings a combination of professional knowledge and practical disciplines across the people management function. In her current role, Jaine leads the Support Services team that encompasses HR, L&D, Health, Safety & Quality whilst also contributing to Cape Dunstans’ leadership and direction.

Rachel Bettinelli

Rachel is the Financial Controller at Cape Dunstans, responsible for financial management, governance, reporting and strategic support across the Group. Rachel has over 15 years’ experience in senior finance leadership roles, including Chief Financial Officer and Financial Controller positions within the manufacturing, mining, construction, utilities and not‑for‑profit sectors.

A Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), Rachel has a strong background in board and management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, systems and ERP implementations, cash flow management and internal controls. She is known for her pragmatic, commercially focused approach and her ability to partner with operational teams to improve performance and support sustainable growth.
