Peter Rowles, Chief Executive Officer

Peter Rowles

Chief Executive Officer

Peter Rowles is more heavily invested in Cape than just being its CEO, he’s a part founder of the business.

In 1983, Peter founded the company Underground Services Australia, servicing the gas sector. Peter has always been a very hands-on leader, and grew the business by working in the field. In 1988, he expanded the business into the water sector, and then incorporated power in 1990. The company grew from strength to strength, as did Peter’s knowledge and hands-on experience. Peter and Underground Services Australia came onto the radar of the CFC Group in 1997 as it was looking to diversify and expand.

In 2009, CFC took full control of Peter’s company. He remained at its helm to assist with its transition into the group through 2010. Six years later, Peter was lured back to head the company.

When taking over the role of CEO of Cape, Peter started with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness, and a mission to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions for our customers. Peter invests in internal growth, not just financial growth, knowing that the strength and future of Cape comes from within. Continuous training has made the Cape team an adaptable, dependable and formidable force in the industry. Peter ensures that our company’s core values of Respect, Integrity, Persistence, Passion and Accountability permeate everything we do.

Peter has created a strong collaborative culture at Cape. He is passionate about teams, knowing that his own success is founded on them. He prides himself on building close relationships with customers and listening to their needs. Peter will work tirelessly with you to find the most effective and efficient ways to complete your projects to your specifications.
