Crushing & Screening Project: Mt Gibson Iron (Koolan Island WA)

In excess of 7.5 million tonnes of material was produced during this crushing and screening contract. Output level and specifications were determined by the client with a large amount of DSO produced. The contract required 24/7 operations and production of DSO -6.3mm fines peaked at 160,000 tonnes per month.

Due to the remote site location, logistics planning and maintenance was absolutely critical with Cape having a full workshop and team in operation throughout the contract to ensure works were completed with minimal equipment downtime.
