132kV Interconnection Clarkson – PTA Nowergup Substations

Power Project: Western Power (Claremont WA)

The scope of works included the installation of one 132 kV cable circuit and two communication ducts over a route distance of approximately 850 metres. Specifically:

• Cable Installation – Directional Drilling and Open Trenching: 2 x 132 kV single core 400 mm2 copper conductor, XLPE insulated, copper tape and wire and corrugated sheath, HDPE over sheath cable
• 10 x P8 Communication pits & 1 x Link Pit
• 1,700m of 100mm ID communications ducts
• Location & Identification of Services
• Traffic and Site Management
• Backfilling and Compaction
• Jointing and Terminations – All
• Site Reinstatement
• Cable testing
