Integrated borefield pipelines, pumping systems and mine water infrastructure.
Cape Dunstans delivered an 18 km borefield water pipeline and associated infrastructure package for Pilbara Minerals at its Pilgangoora Lithium-Tantalum Project in 2018.
The project connected borefield and water-storage infrastructure to the processing plant’s raw-water tank, combining pipeline construction, earthworks, pumping equipment and telemetry controls into an integrated water-supply system.
Project delivery included:
Construction of 16.5 km of DN250 pipeline from the Southern Borefield and 1.5 km of DN280 pipeline from Turkey’s Nest 1 to the processing plant’s raw-water tank.
Installation of submersible bore pump packages and a transfer pumping station, together with associated earthworks and telemetry controls.
An initial six-month operation and maintenance package for dewatering infrastructure following construction, supported by Cape Dunstans' specialist pipeline and dewatering capability.
