Newmont Boddington Drainage Trenching

Water Project: Newmont (Bannister WA)

Cape is constructing three drainage lines running parallel to the length of the existing buttress for Boddingtons F1/F3 Residue Disposal Area (RDA), including:

• Embankment toe drain constructed along the toe of the existing embankment
• Buttress toe drain constructed along the downstream toe of the constructed buttress
• Perimeter drain constructed outside of the buttress footprint/work area. Cross drains will interconnect from the buttress toe drain to the perimeter drain.

Cape is constructing these drainage systems utilising out Trenching Fleet to achieve greater productivity and safety outcomes for the project.
