Crushing & Screening Project: BHP JIMBLEBAR Beneficiation Mobile Crushing Package

Cape has been engaged to provide specialist crushing, screening and sampling services at BHP Jimblebar Mine site.

The contract required Cape to manage and operate a complex Crushing and Screening circuit with specialist Ore sample cutters.  A number of Ore quantities were received from a number of various locations across the BHP Jimblebar site. The ore was fed to a jaw crusher then cone crusher to achieve correct sizing and then onto a screen deck for final sizing before sending to Ore sample cutters.

Cape operated one WA500 wheel loader on day shift to meet client requirements. The operators removed oversize material from various stockpiles and then fed the crushing circuit to ensure consistent feed. Lead distance varied depending on the products being processed.

The Cape team designed, fabricated, transported, and assembled the mobile crushing facility for the contract. The circuit is required to operate at approximately 90-110tph for crushing through the sample circuit.

Cape’s Site Management and the specialist operators worked with BHP Management to ensure the process met client requirements and was completed as efficiently as possible.
