Cape Dunstans was engaged by Service Stream to install 52 km of dual fibre across a series of clear runs ranging from one to five kilometres.
Our team developed a specialist ploughing methodology that combined ground preparation, continuous fibre installation, rock management, supporting infrastructure and reinstatement to deliver an efficient end-to-end installation solution.
Project delivery included:
Pre-ripping and ground proving, followed by the continuous plough installation of dual fibre and marker tape.
Installation of joint pits, marker posts and associated route-marking infrastructure along the completed alignment.
Ripping through rippable rock and targeted breaking and excavation through harder ground, followed by complete reinstatement of the work area.
