Cape Dunstans delivered the design and construction of an $8 million water-supply borefield for Hastings Technology Metals’ Yangibana Project.

The integrated system combined mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and control infrastructure to provide a reliable water supply for the new mine.

Project delivery included:

Five fully equipped production bores incorporating pumps, headworks, variable-speed drive panels and generators.

Eight kilometres of borefield collector piping, a break tank and a transfer pumping station connected to an 18 km transfer pipeline.

Buried creek and road crossings, telemetry installation, system commissioning and operational handover.
