High-volume crushing and screening using efficient electric modular plant.
Cape Dunstans has provided crushing and screening services at Newmont’s Boddington Gold Mine since December 2020.
Operations commenced with a mobile crushing circuit to meet Newmont’s rapid mobilisation requirements before transitioning to an electric modular circuit. The new circuit provides reliable, high-volume production while reducing fuel consumption, operating costs and environmental impacts.
Crushing and screening operations include:
Annual production of approximately 700,000 tonnes of road base, 50,000 tonnes of stemming and 100,000 tonnes of scalping material, together with an all-in 150 mm product.
An electric modular crushing circuit designed to deliver high availability, consistent output and reduced reliance on diesel-powered equipment.
Supporting services including long-term rock breaking, dozer operations, water carts and service trucks.
