Cape Secures 18km Pipeline Project for Pilbara Minerals
Cape has announced it has secured a contract to build 18km Borefield pipeline for Pilbara Minerals
Cape will construct the pipeline at Pilbara Minerals Pilgangoora Lithium-Tantalum mining project located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
Cape will provide pipelines, earthworks, telemetry control system, submersible bore pump packages and a transfer pumping station package at the Pilgangoora Mine site to enable two fully functioning water pipeline systems. The contract also includes the operation and maintenance of dewatering infrastructure for an initial period of 6 months post construction.
Cape’s CEO Peter Rowles said it is another great win for Cape.
“We are delighted to secure a pipeline project within the lithium sector where we have recently been successful with Crushing & Screening project awards.” Mr Rowles said.
“Our specialist MFT20 Fast Fusion Welding Machines were critical in ensuring a cost effective and efficient solution for Pilbara Minerals.”
“We are also able to leverage our extensive dewatering experience to further add value to our client’s operation.”
