Cape secures Pilbara pipeline projects!

Cape is proud to announce that they will be starting work on two Pilbara pipeline projects in the coming weeks.

The first project is to replace more than 10km of existing main with new buried DN630 polyethylene pipe. The new pipe line will connect to the existing main at two locations and 12 existing borehole pumps will be connected to the new pipeline.

The second project involves replacing more than 6km of existing collector main with new buried DN630 polyethylene pipe, plus the construction of a new access track alongside the new pipeline.

Cape CEO Peter Rowles said the work was a great opportunity for the company to utilise some of Cape’s recently acquired Trencher and PE welding fleet – including their recent purchase of six Trenchers, and various size PE welders.

“We’ve recently attained the Vermeer 755, 955 and 1055 fleet giving us a broader and more diverse range of Trenchers and Plows. This gives our business added capability and allows us to better meet the project requirements as well as service our customers’ ongoing needs.

“We look forward to working on the projects and successfully delivering a great piece of work.”
