Perth City Square Upgrade

Power Project: Western Power (Perth WA)

This project consisted of excavation, installation and backfilling works of two 132kV underground cable circuits in flat formation from the cable termination structures located inside the Milligan Street Substation to the existing underground cable joints in the Northern side of junction between Milligan Street and Murray Street.

Installed alongside the 132kV cables were two external optical fibre cables, two earthing cables and two 40 core pilot cables in conduits. The installation works ran over a distance of approximately 590m.
